For National Library Week (NLW), we're offering a variety of events, contests, specials, and prize drawings. Check out the National Library Week display for more information!
NLW Specials:
April 9-14
- Amnesty (no fines) for any overdue book you return, no matter
how long it's been out. Books seeking amnesty must be presented
at the circulation counter. Amnesty does not apply to lost or damaged items.
- 50% off existing fines on books that have previously been returned.
- Library Logo Design Contest: Winning logo will earn $50 in
Chamber Bucks.
- Free replacement library cards: usual replacement fee of $2 will be waived
- Answer our daily trivia questions to enter prize drawings
Monday - Friday, 3 winners per drawing.
- Complete a library scavenger hunt to enter a prize drawing (15
winners will be drawn).
- All entries from the trivia and scavenger hunt games will qualify for a grand prize drawing of $50 in Chamber Bucks.
Daily events:
- Monday, April 9: Kids' Day - the first 100 children to visit the library on Monday will receive special goodie bags.
- Wednesday, April 11: Author Visit - Meet author Jane Kurtz in the children's section from 2-4pm.
- Thursday, April 12: Author Visit - Author Bret Lott will be speaking in our northeast meeting room from 3:30-5pm.
