From the Dordt College Biology Department:
Summer is here! And the first prairie walk is just around the corner. Come join us at Dordt College on Tuesday, June 26th, for a walk through the Dordt College Prairie. We will gather at 7:00pm in the lobby of the Science Building for a brief introduction to prairies and a display of prairie photography, compliments of the Sioux Center Photography Club.
A guided walk will follow from 7:15 to 8:00pm, highlighting recent prairie management and focusing on identification of currently blooming plants. Refreshments, conversation, and further viewing of the photography will be available after the prairie walk.
