In celebration of Iowa's Prairie Heritage Week, join us at the Dordt College Prairie on Wednesday, September 12 for a prairie walk.
7pm - Dr. Robb De Haan will identify conspicuous prairie plants and describe recent prairie management activities.
7:30pm - Dr. Chris Goedhart will talk about prairie insects, and catch and identify several common species for the group.
8pm - Questions, comments, discussion of prairies, prairie literature, prairie restoration, wildflowers, and an opportunity to wander the prairie a little more.
