Summer Reading is not just for kids!  In fact, we have something at the library for EVERY age this summer!  Stop in on June 3, or after, and pick up your packet of information to get started.  But let me try to answer a few commonly-asked questions first:

Do I need to register for Summer Reading Program?

No, but you may pick up your bags on or after June 3.  Please register for storytimes though AND book clubs for children.  You may call or email to register for these events.

What if I’m going to be gone on vacation one week?

No problem, just turn in your reading log AFTER your vacation and we’ll get you all caught up.

If I’m reading to my children, can I count that as my reading time too as an adult?

You bet!  Double duty – we’re all for that!

Do we have to pay for the programs?

NO!  We want most everything we do here to be free for everyone!  We are only asking for a $5.00 reservation on our children’s book clubs – which you get back if your child attends all of the sessions.

When does the Summer Reading Program end?

July 27 is the last day to turn in any minutes or reading logs.

When are the drawings for prizes?

ALL drawings will be held the week of July 28.  We will notify winners and you do not need to be present to win!
