Fall is coming and so is our fall programming! Here are some descriptions of storytimes and other programming we will hold this fall for our younger patrons….
Babygarten: an adult/child storytime for infants to 24 months. It is filled with action rhymes, songs, crafts and a book that is read weekly and presented to the child when the session ends. Begins Tuesday, September 9 at 9:30 AM and repeats every other week until Tuesday December 18.
Toddler Time: A storytime geared for toddlers 24 months – 4 years. We have fun with action rhymes, songs, and stories. Sensory play centers are available at the end with activities planned to support the theme of the day. Begins Tuesday, September 16 at 9:30 AM and repeats every other week until December 25. An adult must attend with the child.
Storytime: Geared for 4-5 years with songs, action rhymes and stories. Sensory play centers are available at the end with crafts and activities that support the day’s theme. Begins Tuesday, September 9 at 11:00 AM and repeats weekly until December 25.
PJ Family Storytime: Join us as families gather together for songs, rhymes and stories. We encourage all ages to attend but activities are geared to lower grades. A short baby time is included in the program if babies are in attendance. Centers include crafts as well as other sensory and creative activities. Begins Thursday, September 19 at 6:30 PM and repeats monthly on the third Thursday of the month.
Bedtime Tablet Tales: Join us for a family story time with a techy twist! We’ll read stories, share rhymes, sing, and dance while exploring interactive technology. Begins Thursday, October 2 at 6:30 PM and repeats monthly on the first Thursday of the month
Sensory Storytime: Designed for children who have trouble siting still during other storytimes. Sensory Storytime include stories and songs as well as large and small movement activities. Sensory centers include activities involving several senses. Contact Judy or Becky at the library for more information.
