The library subscribes to EBSCOhost, a web-based information resource which includes full text magazines, newspapers and reference tools. You can search it from any computer with Internet access -- at home, work, school, or at the library. Each of the 9 services below includes a different combination of databases and/or a different approach to searching.

Auto Repair Reference Center (ARRC) is the most comprehensive collection of automobile repair reference information and contains repair and maintenance information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles. New repair procedures, TSBs and updates are added to the product on a regular basis. Includes coverage of more than 37,000 vehicles from 1945 to present. All of the content in ARRC has been created by ASE certified technicians. |

The Home Improvement Reference Center (HIRC) is designed to assist homeowners in do-it-yourself home repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects. Step-by-step instructions for thousands of projects in the areas of plumbing, outdoor, woodworking, electrical, and decorating are provided in high-quality PDF files. Additionally, thousands of articles from magazines and reference books provide tips and suggestions to supplement the step-by-step project instructions. |

Small Business Reference Center™ provides up to date information on relevant topics from starting a company, operations management and sales to growing or rescuing a business. The database contains nearly 400 full-text periodicals and over 450 full-text reference books. |

Access to EBSCOhost is made possible through a partnership between the State Library of Iowa and Iowa's Area Education Agencies. Primary funding is provided by the State Library using federal Library Services and Technology Act dollars.
