  • Use EBSCOhost to find magazine, journal, & newspaper articles.

  • Encyclopedia Britannica: Use your library card number to access Encyclopedia Britannica and research people, places, events, etc.
  • Chronicling America: Search America's historic newspapers pages or use the U.S. Newspaper Directory to find information about American newspapers published between 1690-present. Sponsored jointly by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress.
  • ABDO eBooks on the Fifty States (school level) - ask the library for login info.
  • Use Iowa Locator or WorldCat to find books, CDs, DVDs and other items in libraries

  • Use HealthInfoIowa or Medline's Iowa Go Local to start your search for health information specialized for Iowans.

  • PeopleSmart Logo - Use People Smart to search a database of free public records for the county.
