Submit a Meeting Room Request

Sioux Center Public Library offers several options for hosting groups and meetings.

Local community service organizations from the Sioux County area will not be charged a room rental fee unless they are charging a fee to attendees. A setup fee of $20 will be charged for all events unless group members take care of setup.

Conference Room (up to 12 seats) $10/hour or part of an hour
Kitchen use no extra fee
Additional fees for all organizations

Janitorial set-up/take-down (optional)
$20 (waived if group takes care of set up)

Technical assistance
$10 for major troubleshooting during an event. Technology trial-runs appreciated.
Failure to cancel
Party will be billed in the amount of room rates & setup fee for time reserved.

 

Please complete the form below to submit a meeting room request.  Reservations are not automatic.  You will be contacted regarding your request within 1-3 business days.  Sioux Center Public Library reserves the right to accept or decline requests based on availability, type of meeting, and other criteria set forth by the SCPL Board of Trustees.

We will consider all requests but cannot guarantee extensive long-term scheduling.

A small kitchen is available, adjacent to the full meeting room, or the west half meeting room. It includes the use of a microwave, sink, and refrigerator.

As of 8/1/11, the Library will charge all groups $20 for setup. This fee will not apply if a group plans to set up tables & chairs for themselves.

The library has the following equipment available for use. Please select the necessary item(s) for your meeting.

The library can provide some pre-meeting assistance on library equipment. Major troubleshooting during an event will be billed as a $10 fee.

Some items may require prior approval by the Library Director. Also, the library staff cannot assist with the operation or technical support of non-library equipment.

Once a reservation has been approved, private organizations, individuals, or commercial entities must submit rental fees to the library at least 10 days prior to the requested date to guarantee reservation.

Submitting a Meeting Reservation Request Form acknowledges that you agree to the reservation rates & terms of the Sioux Center Public Library's Meeting Room Reservation Policy.
